How we know this
A note on ownership. The brand was initially launched in 2024 as a joint venture with Moët Hennessy, but Beyoncé Knowles-Carter bought out Moët Hennessy's stake in July 2026 to become the sole owner.
On this being a Black-owned business:
“According to a spokesperson for Sir Davis, 'Knowles-Carter takes full ownership and control, making Sir Davis a woman-, family- and Black-owned company.'”https://www.news.waymakerjournal.com/beyonce-sole-owner-sir-davis-whiskey/
