The Story

Du Nord Social Spirits was co-founded by Chris and Shanelle Montana in Minneapolis in 2013, starting as a side hustle before Chris left his attorney job in 2015 to focus full-time. Using grain from Shanelle's family farm, Du Nord set out not just to make high-quality spirits but to change the makeup of the industry. Their Foundation Vodka and Apple Liqueur have earned Gold Medals at the Annual American Craft Spirits Competition.
